Please consider joining one of AIPPI International’s Committees by the end of the year.
There are opportunities to be appointed to several of the AIPPI’s committees, particularly for younger members. These committees typically consist of one or two attorneys from each country. The members are appointed by the AIPPI Reporter General’s office. AIPPI headquarters has asked for nominations of US members to those committees that do not already have at least two members. (In some cases, the US Division can nominate a third US member, if that member is an in-house, corporate attorney). The AIPPI Reporter General has asked for nominations as soon as possible, certainly by the end of the year.
If you are not currently a member of AIPPI, please contact AIPPI-US to join.
They are looking for one or two additional US attorneys for: ADR, Enforcement, Piracy and Counterfeiting, Standards and Patents, Geographical Indications, IP and Green Technology, Free Trade Agreements, IT and Internet, Biotechnology, PCT, TRIPS, Development and Intellectual Property, Pharma, and Commercialization of IP.
They are looking for one US in-house/corporate attorney for: Patents, Trademarks, Client Attorney Privilege, and Designs.
If anyone is interested in becoming a member of one of the above AIPPI Committees, please contact the Chair of the AIPPI-US Division, Phil Swain, firstname.lastname@example.org
