AIPLA Biotech Committee is Organizing a Blood Drive at the Spring Meeting

Dear AIPLA Women in IP Law Members:

If you are attending the AIPLA Spring Meeting in Philly, on Wednesday, May 14th, YOU can make a difference by donating blood.

The Biotechnology Committee, AIPLA Leadership, and AIPLA Fellows are hosting an on-site blood drive as the AIPLA Cares – Community Service Project. It will held from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM on May 14th.

Did you know that ONE blood donation can save up to 3-4 lives?

Instead of talking until one is blue in the face about how biotech patents bring life-saving technologies to the public… How awesome will it be to say: Things we do save lives.

In order to make this happen, we need at least 40 people to sign up now to donate blood. Please sign up by sending an email (with “AIPLA Cares – Blood Drive” in the subject line) to Molly R. Weisblatt at

Be part of something wonderful and help us show that AIPLA Cares and things we do save lives. Please sign up now!

Thank you,

Suzannah Sundby
Chair of the AIPLA Biotechnology Committee

Debora Plehn-Dujowich, Ph.D.
Services Leader of the Biotechnology Committee
