Follow-up discussion on latest webinar
We have received some good feedback on our latest webinar and would like to continue the discussion here and on LinkedIn. If you would like to submit questions or make comments to the questions anonymously, please email me at debora.plehn-dujowich@dbr.com or Yelena Morozova at morozova.yelena@gmail.com. We will post the questions or comments here anonymously.
1. Should the thank-you note be on firm letterhead or stationary, or on personal letterhead? Should one include a business card?
2. How do you respond when someone follows up with you but you do not wish to engage?
3. Eventually you do have to ask for the business. How do you judge when in the relationship to do this?
4. When asking about challenges/opportunities, how does one actually broach the subject?
5. What is the best mode of communication to follow-up? Telephone call, email etc.?
6. I was asked at a recent professional event to take informal pictures for the website. I found it was actually a great way to meet people. I am thinking of volunteering to do it more often. Do you see any drawbacks to this strategy for meeting people?
